Description
Made circa 1940, this pair of stone urns has been well cared for. Cast in the traditional urn style with an overturned bell shape giving way to a tapered support brace atop the plinth. Monumentally sized urns of this style have been found in collections of refined taste and used as a center focal point of a garden landscape. This pair of urns with a moss and elemental coating of patina are a modest size. Each one with a 21 inch diameter and standing 25 inches tall. While not being the best option for a centered focal point they are perfect for drawing attention to them,?placed together or separately, to achieve an elegant symmetry. Perfect for helping to achieve a European garden or antique garden look.
