Description
Earthgender Tabletop planter Circa 1970, California. Stoneware un-glazed outside and with a black glaze inside, this creative vision of a modern vase comes from a four year period when David Cressey and Robert Maxwell worked together to bring a combination of un-glazed stoneware and contemporary design into homes and landscapes. The planter here is 8.5 inches tall and 8 inches in diameter, with the sleek curved top lip, slightly tapered bottom, and natural appearance as the un-glazed stoneware allows for colors and textures of the clay to create a wondrous juxtaposition between nature and modern design.
