Antique French chandelier with 23 candle holders. Hand crafted with French style and tradition circa 1850 this beautiful chandelier provides a charming and illuminating nostalgia. The candle holders are standing on a lip of the flat circular iron ballast, which is supported by three curved iron rods connecting the ballast to the decorative upper collar. 14 strands of translucent glass beads reflect the light of the candles, adding a creative touch to the chandeliers illumination. It is 29 inches in diameter and just under three feet tall. The aged iron has a lovely subtle rust patina, giving it a stonewashed appearance and depth. Each candle holder has a bobeche to catch candle drippings. Approaching 200 years in age this charming chandelier will bring a timeless warm glow to the appropriate environment.
