This antique French oak table on pine trestles has a rustic charm that is synonymous with the French countryside. Circa 1900, the pine trestles resemble modern day saw horses and can be positioned at any desired distance to stabilize the table top. The trestle table remained the most popular form of table up until the 16th century, known for its ability to be easily disassembled and for being able to seat many people for a gathering. Comprised of three planks at six and a half feet long and three feet wide, the table has plenty of space to hold showcase pieces or garden projects.
